TRESCON Group Consultant Boost 2026: Sharing Insights Across Markets
In June, colleagues from across TRESCON Group came together in Slovakia in Bratislava for our annual Consultant Boost meeting. The event provided a great opportunity to exchange market insights, discuss current recruitment trends, and strengthen collaboration across our international offices.
Recruitment Market Update: Efficiency, Relationships and Quality Matter More Than Ever
One of the key topics was the current development of recruitment markets across Central Europe.
While each country faces its own challenges, several common trends emerged:
- increasing pressure on efficiency and return on investment,
- greater price sensitivity among clients,
- growing focus on automation and AI,
- the importance of long-term client relationships,
- continued demand for high-quality executive search and direct search services.
Although market conditions remain mixed, demand for experienced managers and specialists continues to be stable. Long-term partnerships and trust-based collaboration are becoming increasingly important in a changing business environment.
Learning from Each Other
A major benefit of the meeting was the opportunity to share best practices across countries.
Topics included:
- automation and AI in recruitment,
- candidate database management,
- client relationship development after successful placements,
- executive search methodologies,
- employer branding and candidate experience.
Particularly inspiring was a session led by our colleagues from Linz, who shared their experience in developing AI competencies and integrating new technologies into everyday recruitment processes.
German-Speaking Recruitment Partner Across Central Europe
Another interesting discussion focused on the growing number of recruitment requests coming directly from international headquarters.
For many international companies, it is essential to work with a recruitment partner who understands local labour markets while being able to communicate professionally in German.

Networking at Sommerfest AHK Slowakei 2026
The event concluded with participation in the Sommerfest AHK Slowakei 2026, one of the most important networking events of the German-Slovak business community. Hosted at Schloss Studené near Bratislava, the event welcomed several hundred representatives from business, politics, diplomacy and public institutions.
The evening provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with long-term partners, establish new relationships and discuss current challenges and opportunities within the region.
Events like these remind us that even in an increasingly digital world, trust, relationships and personal communication remain key drivers of successful business partnerships.
